Form "I"

The idea behind form "I" is that you assess how well your group did at each of the categories. You will have to wait to complete the portion about the presentation.

All groups do not have to fill it out for tomorrow. We can talk about it in class tomorrow. I do usually allow teams to hand that it the class period after their presentation.

Sorry for the confusion it might have caused - although only one group emailed. :-)

Clarifaction

Clarification needed?

I have not received emails about the project expect for one asking about the project; however, I thought I would post a statement clarifying that the schedule has not changed. In general I have received very little in terms of questions about the project. I received one email on Sunday, although I generally don't check email on Sunday, (so I replied today) asking about form "I".

I am hoping this is a sign that everyone is understanding the expectations and are naviagting the assignment and requirements. :-)

In regards to the previous posts, my intention was "here is a PowerPoint to temporarily take the place of discussing chapter 4"...be prepared to discuss it on Tuesday after the projects....I so forgoet to put the part about "after the projects. IF we have time we will squeeze in conversation about Chapter 4 on Tuesday and/or Thursday. If not we will pick up Chapter 4 after the projects and alter the schedule appropriately.

For now please concentrate, as planned, on the projects and Chapter 4 should have been read for last Thursday (the PowerPoint supplemented your reading).

If you have questions let me know. I will be taking my daughter, who is worse, to an appointment this afternoon, and will be away from the computer until about 4:30-5:00- if all goes well. I will check email tonight.

I check email Tuesday on campus before my 9:30 class and then again about 12:20 when I am out of classes.

I am more than willing - and so happy to answer any question you have and provide guidance. Please ask.

Assignment fo Tuesday 2/23

Please look at this PowerPoint slide show on Chapter 4 of your textbook. Take the appropriate notes. Come Tuesday having read the chapter and prepared to discuss and talk! 2/18 No class

Some of you are aware that my youngest daughter has a chronic health issue and spends some time in the hospital throughout the year. She is currently sick and over night her condition has gotten worse. I have to take her to the doctor and she may end up at the hospital (if past history is any indication). On top of it my oldest daughter is also home sick.

No class today. I apologize for not holding class. We will get creative and use technology to stay on track with the lesson and course material.

Meet in teams today. You will have the opportunity to use class time to work on Activity #1. I have provided a handout to guide your discussions. Please be sure you keep your meeting minutes. You do not need to submit anything to me. Come Tuesday we will discuss the exercise and where you are at. Even if your team, had some ideas about topic, it is important to go through the exercise - never skip steps in process. Remember what happens when baking brownies - you skip a step you end up with a mess! or tasting the eggs! :-)
